  Description Deliverable:
  • Assist in carrying out project management functions including charter, change requests, and managing the triple constraint of scope/schedule/budget.

Brief Description on Duties: Description: The Government Mobile Communications Branch (GMCB) under the Ministry of Solicitor General (SolGen), has undertaken an ambitious project to upgrade Ontario s Public Safety Radio Network (PSRN). PSRN is one of the largest and most complex public safety radio networks in North America. It covers approximately 750,000 square KMs of area. PSRN serves more than 38,000 front-line and emergency responders, such as, police officers, enforcement officers, fire service staff and ambulance paramedics with the radio communications technology, equipment and other resources that they need to keep Ontarians safe. Responders use this technology to communicate with their dispatchers and one another when responding to emergencies. GMCB is executing this large project in collaboration with other ministries and partners including the Land and Resources I IT Cluster (LRC) who are leading and managing the PSRN project on behalf of its ministry partners: Ministry of Northern Development, Mines, Natural Resources and Forestry, Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks and Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs. The successful candidate will oversee directly the LRC Stream Leads deliverables within the PSRN Program.
