What You’ll Be Doing
The role is responsible for leading the functional design and development of application systems across the technology stack. The resource also provides technical leadership to develop precise steps and processing logic across the platform, ensuring the designed specifications achieve business needs and follows correct coding standards and best practices. The role makes technology selection decisions that are often made in situations where business requirements are not completely defined.
In this team the candidate is expected to work on Capital Markets Technology, related to funding and collateral management. There are combination of greenfield project including DEVOPs deliverables and new business tools/reporting, TechDebt work such as platform and infrastructure upgrades and smaller enhancements and bug fixes for currently live platform. Our backend is mainly built on C# Lucid platform, in addition to smaller use cases and functionalities within Autosys, Databricks and Batch scripts. The data platform consists of both MSSQL Server and Databricks. These entail bulk of the work items for a developer on a day 2 day. Additionally, there are UI and reporting tools in Plotly, Nexus, PowerBI all integrated with Databricks.
Additionally we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-2 day per week on-site, while other days will be remote.
How You’ll Succeed
• Ownership and End to End Delivery: Understand the requirements and find avenues to fill any gaps within them. Deploy code changes and unit tests along with assisting BA’s to perform functional testing. Assist QA with regression testing and make sure code is part of release timeline/package and instructions are provided to release managers. Finally verify and or assist release manager/management with deployment is necessary.
• Strategic Development & Execution: Perform and coordinate complex solution design activities. Understand the business requirements and translate them into system and application design that is aligned with our technology roadmap, using best practices and standards within the team and the enterprise. Design and document the technical functionality, infrastructure, interfaces, and integrations.
• Strategy and Roadmap: Contribute to technology roadmaps that are aligned with the bank’s vision, strategy, and business objectives. Lead multiple complex technology solutions while maintaining consistency across the platform, adopting best practices and pushing forward continuous improvements
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the solution lead and interface with the project teams by driving and moderating design review sessions to walk stakeholders through and ensure that the overall design aligns with business requirements as well as architectural directions. Support and mentor junior designers and developers through knowledge sharing, collaboration and effective problem solving

IICS, Tableau, Snowflake, Python-- everything has been configured and is in place and on the cloud, no set up or that kind of work required. Might be engaged sometimes if there's some tools that need batch updates. Sometimes Admin experience will be required in terms of how to set up pipelines, sometimes interacting with vendors, working with the CloudOps team when API is getting enabled with vendors, getting correct permissions etc.
Nice to have would be:
