HRbrain is looking to bring on 2 DevSecOps Engineers    They support test environments across the retail LOB within Digital, predominantly supporting the online banking app.  The team is 6 FTE people and they have about 100 feature projects, so have reached max capacity, hence needing 2 additional folks.   This as opposed to the rest of the teams in the area, is *hands on technical* work.  This includes hands on troubleshooting, strong familiarity with Linux, working with OCP (OpenShift Container Platform) deployed within the Azure cloud space.  Folks need to also have strong working knowledge of Command Line, Navigation, and GitHub.   The candidates should be coming from a technical/development background to be able to do this type of work.   5 days per *month* currently required  (1 day/week, + 1 Friday/month)

  What is the opportunity? The central architecture team is not aligned to a specific domain within markets but rather supports the entire department.  As such you’ll have broad exposure to all asset classes and aspects of the business front to back.  Similarly, you’ll have exposure to a wide breadth of technologies and design patterns reflecting the varying needs of different aspects of the business.      What will you do?

• Initial primary focus will be on evolving our capital markets GenAI framework and aligning it with the enterprise offering.  This will involve collaboration with senior executives on design choices to ensure our domain requirements are incorporated in the target solution.
• More generally, you’ll help to form and communicate technology guidance to standardize development of commonly needed capabilities.  For instance, work with SMEs within markets and enterprise to figure out what our API strategy should be, build consensus, document it on confluence, present it to senior leadership, and show dev teams how to implement it.
• In addition, you’ll review proposed architectures to align specific team requirements to high level goals of capital markets leadership and the bank.  For instance, why are you ordering a physical machine instead of using internal cloud?  Why are you using Redis over MemSQL?  Why are you pulling X from RBCAppA instead of RBCAppB?  Etc..

Experience writing for web and/or digital properties Nice to have: • Previous banking experience • Experience with AEM or similar CMS • Familiarity with enterprise project methodologies and publishing/workflow tools • Previous experience working with cross-disciplinary teams of UX and Creative Designers, Content Strategists, Product Design Leads and more • Familiarity with the principles of content strategy and inclusive writing • Familiarity with WCAG 2.0 Accessibility Standards and plain language principles • Working knowledge of SEO and user experience • Jira/Confluence Soft Skills • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, used to liaise with and present your content to stakeholders •Tech savvy and open to learning new technologies, such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) CMS, Confluence/Jira •Effective relationship management skills •Detail and process oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks •A collaborative team player willing to share expertise and knowledge •Taking a high degree of initiative; managing time and organizing workload •Working with minimal direction while responding to shifting business needs • Able to Prioritize Education and Certifications: Degree in English, Marketing, Journalism or Technical Writing with strong language skills (or equivalent work experience).   Physical Presence: Hybrid - 2 days per week in office
