Daily Job Duties/Activities: Deliver against the strategic 1-2 year marketing plan that is aligned to business revenue targets – within the allocated marketing budget. Monitor and manage plan through regular updates as necessary. In partnership with the Director and Senior Director, manage the development and delivery of the strategies and marketing tactics (offer, creative, target audience, channel) to meet business targets. Work collaboratively across the Marketing teams and Marketing Solutions & Client Offers, and lines of business to ensure effective growth of the overall line of business revenue plan. Build and develop relationships with the key business contacts to become a trusted and valued partner in their business growth (breadth and depth of business knowledge) Responsible for the creative development and the internal approval process, including legal and compliance reviews, for assigned direct marketing initiatives. Ensure all marketing activities support the CIBC brand and are brand compliant. In partnership with the lines of business, be the subject matter expert on all competitive engagement insights and ensure proper integration of findings. Leverage, promote and employ analytics to deliver measurable and profitable marketing initiatives – imbedding results driven learning into future initiatives for continued improvement. Support the optimization of the Marketing budget – maximizing channels and marketing ROI. Ensure on-going communication and regular status updates on all aspects of assigned Marketing Campaigns and activities with all key stakeholders. Proactively identify new and effective ways to deliver target direct marketing communications support to the lines of business. Must-Have Skills/Experience: • 1+ years' experience managing creative and marketing communications processes for all mediums including direct and interactive (Marketing Project Management) • 1+ years' Financial services experience including knowledge of retail banking products. Credit Cards experience is ideal. *Without this experience it is a steep learning curve. If they have agency experience but no cc, this will work • Email marking experience producing client-facing communications • Experience managing budgets (Ensuring all costs come into estimate) • Undergraduate degree - preferably Marketing unless they have equivalent related experience. Description; We’re searching for a Scrum Master to lead one of our Agile squads in the CRM & Advisor Technologies group. You’ll be joining a diverse and inclusive agile lab delivering solutions on Salesforce’s Financial Services Cloud and Lighting platform part of an Agile Program. Here within the lab, employing the latest in technology and Scaled Agile practices to help bring to life the CRM Advisor Platform of the future here at RBC. Definitely a great opportunity for a Scrum Master who is looking for advancing your agile skills and gain exposure to a large scaled agile program, working with the latest technologies. What will you do? • Promote and drive adoption of Agile Methodologies and Agile Mindset (Drive Business Value, Deliver in Iterations, Collaboration) • Remove impediments to deliver outcomes and results through proactive management of external dependencies, critical thinking/problem solving, and development of new solutions or approaches to ongoing challenges • Navigate and identify shared IT services required by the team in the delivery of its objectives. Facilitate discussion leading to collective decision-making, goal setting and conflict resolution within the team • Continuously seek to improve team performance by promoting joint accountability for results and solving productivity issues. Facilitate and engage in business analysis, user experience and technical conversations across platforms and multiple levels of influence • Work in a Scaled Agile Program and collaborate with other scrum masters and squads to work collectively and deliver capabilities on the next generation CRM Advisor Platform • Communicate cross functionally, ensuring transparency of progress and outcomes; Report team progress and accomplishment up and across; Facilitate status updates (including project financials and running concurrent Agile projects under fast-paced work environment), product demos and retrospectives What do you need to succeed? Must-have • 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master – where Scrum principles, practices and theory were diligently applied • Certified Scrum Master / Agile Practitioner • Ability to listen, communicate clearly, concisely with confidence and demonstrate ability to influence others • Ability to coach teams and individuals in regards to their Agile practices and the ability to advise group of people around how to best organize themselves in order to achieve a goal • Project / Program delivery in Agile environment (medium-to-large scale initiatives) using influence to facilitate to outcomes • Ability to apply well documented Agile techniques (User Stories, Burndown techniques, Acceptance Test Driven Development, Continuous testing, etc.); SAFe and/or Scaled Agile experience is an asset • Able to effectively prioritize own workload and focus across many streams of work Nice-to-have • Strong IT delivery background, preferably in development or systems analysis • Experience applying RBC Agile Management Framework in deliver medium to large complexity projects, and with the Enterprise Decision Support PAR process • Experience and/or knowledge with Test Automation tools and approaches MUST HAVE; Nice Have; Salesforce Technical/software dev background Hybrid - 3 mandatory days per week in office
