Brief description of duties:

Client’s ITS Product Delivery requires the services of a Senior Software Developer to support development activities in on-going projects.

The contractor shall provide the following services:

• Participate, as part of a development team, in solution development related activities to include solution design, construction, testing and implementation.
• Perform code updates to conform with code development standards and in conformance to the client’s Blueprint Architecture.
• Develop, modify, and execute test plans, test scenarios and test cases and ensure sufficient unit/module/system test coverage.
• Promote and implement applications adhering to Information Technology Service Management procedures and processes.
• Adhere to system development standards, methodologies, quality assurance principles and processes.

MUST haves:

• Deliver, as part of a development team, the defined technical solution.
• Deliver the solution according to scope defined by the Technical Lead in accordance to technical, architectural and quality standards.
• Create technical documentation to include, but not limited to, a Technical Design Document, test plans and test cases.
• Execute and conduct comprehensive unit, module and system integration testing.
• Provide oral briefings on an ongoing basis to appraise Technical Lead as to the project status, challenges, risks and performance.
