Brief description of duties:

 

The client’s team is accountable to act as a point of contact/business relations to key 3rd party IT service providers; assessing and driving on-going improvements in service delivery, including defining and monitoring performance of key performance indicators/metrics, managing technology and business issues as they relate to contracts managed; ensuring business value for services provided and cost optimization. The ServiceNow Platform Team manages the platform, the Service Catalog, inclusive of all major ITIL processes such as release, change, configuration management, communication, incident, and problem management, and partners with the business and Enterprise Architecture to ensure effective service strategy and design.

 

The ServiceNow Administrator will work with the IT and Business mid leadership, IT stakeholders, architects, development teams and various service delivery groups. This position places special and initial emphasis on the administration of the ServiceNow Platform Administration and updating minor updates to Service Request workflows.  This is key for this role to be able to use Flow Designer and update existing workflows.

 

This role is responsible for working on incidents through investigation of root cause, administration opportunities within the ServiceNow platform. The role sits within the ServiceNow Platform Team   and is tasked with troubleshooting issues in a hybrid cloud environment. The role requires advanced skills that enable the individual to deliver a high level of service and to meet the expectation from the business, as well as a very solid understanding of an enterprise IT infrastructure operational environment and industry best practice.

 

MUST haves:

 

  • 4+ years experience with ServiceNow supporting day to day administration of ServiceNow instances as well as experience supporting ServiceNow implementation instances.
  • MUST have flow designer experience
  • ITIL v3
  • Implementation of ServiceNow ITSM applications
  • ServiceNow Administration – changes to processes, workflows/forms, building custom reports, managing data, personalizing lists, and content management.
  • Agile, Scrum or Waterfall methodologies

Qualifications:

  • Experience in ServiceNow working with different modules such as Incident Management, Service Catalog, Problem Management, Change Management, Discovery, Service Mapping, Service Portal and Custom Application Development.
  • Implementation of ServiceNow ITSM applications using ITIL V3 services best practice processes, methods, testing, and training projects for multiple, diverse organizations.
  • Experience with configuring workflows for different categories
  • Experience Performing day to day Administration of ServiceNow instances, including changes to processes, workflows/forms, building custom reports, managing data, personalizing lists, and content management. (Must Have)
  • Wide range of Implementation Experience with many global clients in the ServiceNow suite development including SOAP/REST integration, Discovery, Service Catalogs, Business Rules, Update sets and workflows.
  • Experience in Administration, documentation, and technical support of the ServiceNow platform with a focus on designing and delivering technical solutions that are developed on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Working experience of various phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) such as Design
  • Good working knowledge on Software Development Methodologies like Agile Scrum, Waterfall
  • Functional knowledge and Implementation Experience of IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks.
  • Experience in loading assets into SNOW from third party system using Web services and Import Sets.
  • Experience in designing, development and Implementation of ServiceNow platform ITSM application.
  • Immense knowledge about the concepts like LDAP, MID Servers, Workflow administration, Reporting, Form/UI configurations, Notifications, data imports, custom scripting.
