Senior Project Manager
Description;
Responsible for leading, planning and delivering all aspects of small (squads) to large (tribe), highly complex and strategic projects and program across multiple departments. PM from one to many projects in parallel based on complexity of each. Defines what is targeted, included and excluded scope, high-level budget envelope, high-level target in time, costs estimates and costs management. Change Management and associated priority. Works with Tribe PO, Architects and other stakeholders to ensure strategy and execution alignment. Leads all IT project management activities (staffing needs, budget, risk, audit requests, performance, security, PMO requirements, etc.). Creates and manages a risk register as well as put into place measures to minimize the risks. Helps manage risks and dependencies, escalates and tracks impediments. Time Management applied during the course. Creates and manages a schedule. Works with Architects and Tribe PO to determine capacity allocation for technical and improvement stories. Manages resources / squads; obtaining, assigning, adding or reducing based on needs. Coordinates with shared services (EIS, Infra etc) and manages all external partners of the projects sellers, consultants, etc.), including RFI (Request for Information) and RFP (Request for business proposals) with the procurement and legal services. Manages all required communications such as “Steering Committee”, “Directorate”, etc. as well as others stakeholders in order to keep everyone up to date on what is happening, summarizes overall Tribe planning and also to get decisions on specific project situations (problems/impediments, contingencies, alignment on topics, relentless improvement, etc.). Is a servant leader and coach for the squad and/or Tribe. Plans and facilitates Tribe events such as “Tribe PI planning” “Tribe retrospective”. Manages and optimizes the Tribe efficiency using various tools, such as Dashboards. Monitors Tribe level release execution and produces Tribe metrics. Supports Conflict resolution, removes impediments for the Tribe and escalates as required. Listens to and supports squads in problem identification and decision making. Encourages collaboration between squads and architects. Ensures that the project team/Squad/Tribe deliver value. Provides feedback on squad members to Line Managers. Manages the quality of deliverables in relation to the architecture, scope, time and budget available.

• Manage projects by understanding the company’s strategies, priorities and issues.
• Assess capabilities to propose appropriate solutions and deliver the company’s values.
• Manage stakeholders and maintain good relations with internal and external collaborators.
• Define the mandate of an infrastructure program/project, as well as its scope in collaboration with the program/project sponsors. Initiate project start-up activities and agree on a vision of the scope with the sponsor.
• Divide the project into achievable tasks and set up a functional organizational chart with roles and responsibilities.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans by identifying deliverables and dependencies, estimating associated duration and costs, and participating in the assignment of human resources to sub-activities.
• Provide timely advice to experts and sponsors throughout the project to achieve and meet the objectives. Ensure that the investment in the project provides the best deliverables/products or optimal value to the client/sponsor.
• Build lead and coordinate, in direct and/or indirect supervision mode, the activities of a multidisciplinary team including Project Managers (PMs) and Project Control Officers (PCOs).
• Write reports on the entire project (progress, problems, costs, closing, etc.) while respecting established performance indicators. Lead project risk management. Effectively manage project delivery.
• Maintain dashboards on a periodic and progressive basis throughout the program/projects.
• Anticipate problems and difficult situations and take the necessary steps to resolve them.
• Ensure proactive and effective communication at all levels of the project.
• Ensure that the right communication channels are in place between project collaborators.
• Manage relationships with the client
