Brief description of duties:

 

Solution Owner/BA/Scrum Master with a target allocation of 60% to Moncton Operations and Enhancement. Note: During the onboarding and knowledge transfer, the allocation to Moncton will be between 60-80%

What is Moncton?

Moncton is the new System for Supply Chain Product Discontinuation replacing the legacy PDM retirement tool. This project was part of the PT Data Hub strategy to deliver excellence in Master Data Management and secure Data Consistency across the value chain by managing not only the timely creation of new products but also the prompt identification, phase-out and discontinuation of products that have reached their end-of-life cycle.

With Moncton we:

  • Bring a standardized and harmonized business process for product discontinuation
  • Leverage digital process automation (DPA) to orchestrate the end-to-end discontinuation process
  • Leverage robotic process automation (RPA) to reduce effort in master data maintenance tasks on multiple different data objects
  • Deliver an overall better user experience (UI, data integration, system recommendations, notifications, and alerts)

Senior Business Analyst, aiming to become the Product Owner of the new system once it is launched. Initial target Allocation: 30% to PT Automated Artworks Creation

What is PT AAC?

The Automated Artworks Creation Systems is the single platform and data model for all Roche Artworks
Senior Business Analyst for Supply Chain LATAM & Technical Product Configuration with a target allocation of 10% supporting the intake and analysis of new demand, and the development of agile business case, process modeling, data modeling, and new process design.

Responsibilities

As a Business Analyst:

  • Provide SME advice on best practices around business process design and improvement
  • Analyze and designs business processes based on business needs with the stakeholders
  • Prepare documents such as business process diagrams, flowcharts, requirements documents, functional specifications, use cases, user stories, etc. and reviews with stakeholders
  • Provide technical advice for determining the product technology and fit with the business needs
  • Support the Product Manager by deep-diving on problems and providing options on ways to progress the product evolution

As a Solution Owner:

  • Contribute to the vision and roadmap to support the Product Manager
  • Create and maintains user stories, team backlog, team Roadmap to support Features
  • Manage the Product Backlog, working with the project team, and Product Manager to prioritize requirements
  • Key Activities include backlog refinement, iteration planning , User story acceptance and PO Sync
  • Team facing role. Maintain team backlog, focus on execution, execute current PI, prepare for upcoming iteration in current PI, etc
  • Develop functional test cases and supports testing efforts of Development Team
  • Collaborate with the Scrum Team and stakeholders to translate business needs into system improvements, and shares feedback on Product Increments
  • Collaborate with scrum team (developers, designers, architects and QA) to ensure a shared understanding of the business model and the detailed function requirement
  • Iterate with the Scrum Team through: analysis, design, code, test and deploy for each item in the Sprint

As a Scrum Master (Nice to have):

  • Facilitate agile ceremonies/meetings and support the team’s needs in order to maximize productivity
  • Set up and facilitate iteration planning, daily scrum or stand-ups, demo, and retrospective meetings
  • Enforce scrum values, principles, and practices and ensure development team is adhering to agile principles and practices
  • Monitor the flow of work and keep track of performance on a daily basis
  • Help the team focus on creating increments of value each iteration
  • Facilitates the removal of impediments to team’s progress
  • Integrate and manage the definition of Done
  • Take ownership of issue resolution
  • Foster high collaboration and communication among team

Skills & Capabilities

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience as Business Solution Analyst
  • High degree of both technical expertise and business acumen
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP Material Master and Production Planning modules, and understanding cross functional process flow, data, data models, related tables and dependencies
  • Prior experience on master data management processes and best practices
  • At least 3 years of Supply Chain (source, make and / or quality focus), IT or other relevant functional experience is nice to have
  • Experience working with global cross functional teams: clarifying requirements, resolving conflicts, defining roadmap and driving progress
  • Outstanding stakeholder management experience, superior influencing, and collaboration skills
  • Experience with Agile product development methodology and Agile / Scrum practices. -Solution Owner experience is a plus
  • Experience in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is a plus
  • Agile Business Analyst certification is an asset

 

MUST haves:

 

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience as Business Solution Analyst
  • Knowledge and hands on experiences of SAP MM/PP/WM/QM
  • Business Partnership and communication
  • In depth Analytic skills
