QA / QC Test Lead

Brief Description on Duties:

Business Group: Commercial Global Engineering: Oversees changes/implementations to commercial client programs.

Project: The team is seeking an QA Test Lead to work on an ETL Salesforce project specifically working with Talend 8. The project is currently half completed and planning to run for the next 2 years.

Typical Day in Role:

• Develop Test Strategies for project delivery.
• Develop Test scenarios and queries for In-house developed application, DB level and E2E testing scripts
• Execute test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures
• Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates
• Produce dashboards and reports for sprints or code releases.
• Develop testing programs that addresses areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, or usability
• Identify, analyze and document problems with program function, output, online screen or content
• Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes
• Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers
• Create or maintain databases of known test defects
• Good understanding of testing standards and methodologies

Must haves:

• 5+ years of previous QA Testing experience
• 3+ years of previous Experience with ETL
• 3+ years experience with JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket/Git suite and managing test cases, test plans using Jira plugins like X-ray or Zephyr.

Nice to have:

• Previous experience working with Talend 7 or 8
• Working with Salesforce integration
• Previous FI experience
