Brief Description on Duties

 

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a net-new project initiative which is highly visible within the organization.

Typical Day in Role:

  • Leads projects (planning, scheduling, oversight and status reporting) and releases, taking part in scripting/testing where needed and seeing projects through to completion while upholding the strongest quality assurance testing standards and methodologies
  • Reviewing and analyzing requirement documentation and specifications to determine the appropriate QA test approach & develop detailed test cases in order to schedule and plan in accordance with SDLC methodology
  • Work collaboratively with QA Analysts or Scrum team members to make certain the quality outcomes of their scripting and test execution activities is aligned with customer expectations
  • Train new members to the team, provide assistance to other team members as required and to champion quality assurance best practices and methodologies within the QA team
  • Communicates test progress, test results and other relevant information to the project manager and other stakeholdersCandidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
  • 5+ years of experience as a QA in FI
  • 1+ years of experience with MS Azure DevOps
  • 5+ years of experience writing tests
  • Previous experience with API interfaces and testing
  • 1+ years of experience in an agile environment (Scrum)

Nice-To-Have Skills:

  • Experience Postman
  • Canadian banking Experience
  • Brokerage experience
  • Cloud experience
