Brief description of duties:
- Manage and track project resources and provide leadership and coaching to them in their day-to-day activities;
- Oversee the process with the external supplier;
- Maintain excellent communication between project stakeholders;
- Provide project management deliverables to relevant parties;
- Identify issues for management review and prepare appropriate status reports and documentation;
- Identify the overall vision of needs, problems, opportunities and issues;
- Be able to identify and understand the expectations of stakeholders, interact with the different levels of project management, work as a team and be able to provide an accurate picture of the project status;
- Know how to adjust his/her behavior and the level of support according to the maturity of the team and the stakeholders, both business and IT;
- Ensure that the teams are functional, productive and that they are adequately organized;
- Ensure that teams are committed to continuously evaluating and improving their productivity;
- Protect team members from external interference;
- Ensure that the progress of the work is communicated and follow up on obstacles raised by the team;
- Guide and direct the team with tact to ensure that they adhere to the organization’s new ways of doing things.

MUST haves:
- Experience leading a major project/program;
- Demonstrated experience in the investment and securities industry, particularly in an operational environment (i.e. back office and middle office)
- Relevant experience in a software integration and internal development project in an Agile/Scrum environment, with a strategic solution provider;
- Ability to be strategic in a business environment;
- Communication skills and human relations;
- Political awareness;
