Title: Project Control Officer
Term: 12-months (with extension) – 37.5 hours/Week
Location: Toronto – Hybrid 1-2 weeks on-site

Brief Description of Duties:
We are looking for someone who is passionate about learning and contributing to the success of the overall team by assisting and supporting the project manager with the below-listed skills:
- Develop and maintain project plans & consolidate individual project plans into a program-level integrated plan
- Produce thorough key milestone tracking charts and high-level timelines
- Communicating with stakeholders to ensure priorities of upcoming deliverables
- Working collaboratively with project team, participating, and leading scrum meetings
- Assisting in follow-up of out‐standing deliverables, issues, risks, and action items
- Planning monthly sprints and supporting with execution/closing activities
- Demonstrating and promoting best practices in project management and schedule management
Must Haves:
- Proven work experience as a Project Coordinator/PCO or similar role
- Strong working experience with all of: MS Project, Excel, Confluence and JIRA
- Adept in using MS Office applications (SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Experience in project management practices/methodologies (Agile and Iterative Waterfall), from conception to delivery
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in change management is an asset
- Experience in working in a banking environment is an asset
Soft Skills:
- Capability to manage multiple priorities across a number of assignments and prioritize effectively
- Motivated and analytical, with strong achievement orientation and attention to detail
- Knowledge of enterprise project management information systems Ability to work in a diverse / fast-paced environment and able to meet deadlines
- Able to define the next steps required when the plan changes during project activities
- Ability to deal with tight deadlines and pressure; Comfortable with information technology (IT)
- Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Willingness to take responsibility for assigned tasks and demonstrate a strong work ethic
- Have leadership skills and be able to work independently
- Good interpersonal and relational skills
