Brief description of duties:


  • Support the Cisco ACI and internal cloud automation in collaboration with the SMO team
  • Maintain and support for a 7×24 core network environment, this includes all data centers, head offices, and Canada-wide remote offices
  • Build, deploy and operate the enterprise-wide network following the industry-standard design and support best practices
  • Documentation of operational and recovery procedures
  • Support the development of implementation strategies and plans including identification of technical work packages, dependencies, estimates, and schedules


MUST haves:


  • Degree/diploma in technology-related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Cisco, Checkpoint, Aruba, f5, and/or Radware training/certification would be an asset
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to follow ITIL best practices on incident management, break-fix, permanent resolution, problem management, and change management
  • Solid communications and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to script/automate Network tasks
  • Effective internal consulting skills with a strong customer service orientation
  • Attention to detail and effective planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and perform capacity planning
