Brief description of duties:

 

  • Partnering with affiliate senior stakeholders to ensure high adoption of the existing global and regional integrations effectively, ensure expectations are managed appropriately, create awareness, and foster organizational change management being implemented
  • Supervise the process to identify architecture setup and approve critical local Integrations signed-off, support the affiliates to take appropriate decisions, and provide necessary help and guidance for successful deployment.
  • Partnering with iConnect Leads and Cross Squad Capability Leads (Data, Testing, BA) to identify and address cross dependencies (e.g. scope, planning resources) and offer a fully integrated experience to the Affiliates
  • Monitor cross-divisional initiatives e.g. with Diagnostics or Manufacturing to identify synergies and to trigger effective collaboration, like e.g. master data management, Event and compliance Management, etc.
  • Work self-organized, without a given detailed direction, and in the high ambiguity environment to achieve the team and program mission
  • Empowered to enable the Leads to coordinate the involvement of shared pool resources needed to perform the job related to architecture and integration deployment Agile Mindset, Leadership, and Continuous Improvement
  • Act as a mentor and coach for the team to build and follow best agile practices
  • Be an active ambassador and coach on the program values and underlying business transformational ambitions and agile mindset. Within IT, but also in the business organization affected by the changes and new ways of working.
  • Accountable to coach the team to learn and adopt agreed ways of working and reacting to potential

 

Program Delivery

 

  • Facilitate best practice sharing including methodologies, processes, tools to support rollout.
  • Accountable for the successful deployment, go-live, and hyper care of the integrations (global, regional and

local) to affiliates and hand-over to the Operations team

  • A support Operations team with Integration related updates, retrofits, and activities
  • Accountable for the determination, request, and management of the budget and resources
  • Identify business opportunities as candidates for to-be global best practices
  • Comply with & advocate legal, regulatory, and company standards and codes of practice
  • Work closely with the team to define the architecture and integration scope and facilitate Affiliates sign-off
  • Work closely with the team to coordinate identify and mitigate architecture and integration-related risks and issues Problem Solving & Decision Making
  • Act as the escalation point for the team in your region (including human and/or financial resource issues) Communication, Influencing, and Collaboration
  • Act as the regional integration point of contact for senior and executive stakeholders from the EpiCX Program and Affiliate
  • Partner with iConnect squad leads and EpiCX Product owners
  • In case of conflicts, act as diplomat and coach to solve the conflicts within the teams, cross EpiCx program teams as well as cross-organization
  • Coach team members on communication and conflict management

 

Must-haves:

 

  • 10+ years of experience in leading IT roles, either as enabling leader, IT program/project/deployment manager
  • 5+ years of experience managing complex programs
  • 3+ years pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry or related industry experience
  • 5+ years of experience in strategy development and implementation
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience, MBA preferred
  • Very good understanding of technology-driven transformation projects and commercial ecosystems
  • Knowledge of CRM and cloud-based solutions such as Salesforce, IQVIA, or Veeva and a good understanding of data and analytics technology
