Brief description of duties:
Working within the client’s Network Big Data Teams. POC’s for GCP have been created but they are looking to migrate workflows to GCP Dataproc before end of the year.
Target of 50 workflows to migrate into GCP environment. These workflows are currently in Hadoop. Most of development is currently done in Scala and Spark. POC for Dataflow is currently in process.
Role will focus on consulting, advising and creation of GCP architecture for multiple different teams within Network Big Data
MUST haves:
- Proven experience migrating to GCP architecture
