Brief description of duties:

The candidate will be working in the department of PnL Technology Wholesale Finance IT T&O.

They build and maintain PLANET – PNL analysis & exploration toolkit. They collect trade positions from derivate trading systems, PNL calculations, analyze past and present prices, and compare. PnL gets decomposed into components such as what is market looking like, smartness of trader, etc. It is then fed into finance ledger systems

The team deals with one of the largest data systems. Their last count, they were dealing with 17TB of data. There are a few million records of data sets – this data comes from trading set, fed into system, analyze how does it change in between – some form of reconciliation in the middle, what is the gap/difference. Over the next few years, the amount of data will be increasing exponentially.

MUST haves:

• Back-end:
  • Very strong Java development skills & Spring experience
• Front-end: **They are not picky on the Front-end**
  • Some Angular
  • Typescript
• Big data – Hadoop
• Strong understanding how data flows between systems
• Strong experience with data analysis and data transformation
• Friendly personality

Nice to haves:

• Spark and Scala
• High file formats knowledge/experience
