Full Stack Developer

Brief Description on Duties:

Project: Document Upload project – firstly targeting small business customers, allowing them to upload documents to website using a micro app, and back office will process these documents; plan to build this into a bigger feature – full stack developer needed to work on coding for app that will help to upload documents

Typical Day in Role:

• Analyze and oversee the team’s development efforts working towards successful code delivery
• Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship
• Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits
• Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain different applications
• Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards
• Work with Delivery Leads and BSA’s to articulate efforts and compile estimates
• Demonstrates knowledge of staying current on industry best practice and secure coding
• Tech stack: Javascript, ReactJS, NodeJS, and Cloud Applications
• Full stack role will be 50/50 front end and back-end

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:

• 10+ years’ progressive working experience as a Full Stack Developer working in the IT industry in roles like developer and team lead
•  2+ years’ experience with ReactJS
• 2+ years’ experience with NodeJS

Nice-To-Have Skills:

• Experience with Cloud applications
• Extensive experience in designing and developing enterprise grade software
• Experience from FI/banking

Soft Skills Required:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Time management skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments

Education:

• Bachelor’s in technical field
