Brief description of duties:

 

  • Work with business partners and collaborate with subject-matter experts (SMEs) across the organization to help build solutions aligned to business requirements.
  • Collaborate with Learning and Development team members to ensure consistent application of best practices in learning design, promoting efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Build learning sustainment strategies to enhance the learner experience, boost retention and ensure application.
  • Develop evaluation strategies and recommendations to measure the impact of multiple complex learning projects.
  • Stay curious about advances in technology, learning and development to enhance the learner experience.
  • Microsoft Outlook, Webex Meetings – candidate should be proficient in both in order to communicate with business partners and team members. Candidate must also know how to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) for collaborating on documents.
  • LMS experience (i.e. Workday) is an asset.

 

 

MUST haves:

 

  • 3-5 years progressive experience designing, building and delivering innovative, technology-enabled solutions
  • University or college degree/diploma or certification and expertise in adult education, workplace learning or related field.
  • Proven skills and capabilities in design and development at the curriculum, course and module level in all channels of learning design (mobile, social, gamification, video, classroom, virtual classroom, e-learning, and blended).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to write effective copy and audio/video scripts.
  • Strong project management skills and experience; critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and stakeholder expectations.
  • Strong relationship and collaboration skills to work with project teams comprised of internal and external learning colleagues, subject matter experts and business leaders.
