Brief Description on Duties:
Description of Service
Data Business Analyst/Data Integrator Services to support data template creation, and application configuration requirements.

Primary Responsibilities

• Data requirements development and integration support between source systems
• Work directly with Line of Business Users to support data collection, cleansing, and uploading into new system of record.
• Communicates with administrators, end users, vendors, service providers and other outside organizations to coordinate activities, programs, schedule work, resolve issues
• Investigates, understands, describes and documents data contents in transaction systems and target systems.
• Report progress and highlight gaps and issues with Project team

Specific Project Requirements

• What are we trying to solve and what’s included in the IFRS9 Solution?
• The IFRS9 Solution is intended to better inform decision-making wrt allowance measurement, and to make scenario generation and model life-cycle mgmt. more efficient.
• The primary purpose of the IFRS9 Solution initiative is to reduce operational risk in the Expected Capital Loss calculation process and to produce trusted and intuitive IFRS9 PD curves for use in allowance calculations.
• The primary objective in 2024 is to run EDC’s Dec 31, 2024 fiscal financial statements through the new IFRS9 PD models in a well-controlled environment.
• The IFRS9 Solution includes new IFRS9 PD models, a new Scenario generator, a new ECL calculation engine, and (outside of the scope of the ICO CAD 2.5M funding and for completion in 2025) a new model platform.
• This role will support getting the correct data into a well-controlled technology solution to ensure validation, IFRS9 Compliance, reducing our Operational, and Financial risk.

Top Skills Required:

• Background/Experience in Financial Servies industry- Knowledge of Risk Management Practices, and experience with Moody’s implementations, and SaaS solutions
• Experience with Data Extractions, Data Mapping, and Data Loading
• Experience working with multiple source/target systems such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, XML files, flat files, MS access/excel documents.

Other Skills Required:

• Background/Experience in Financial Servies industry- Knowledge of Risk Management Practices, and experience with Moody’s implementations, and SaaS solutions
• Experience with Data Extractions, Data Mapping, and Data Loading
• Investigates, understands, describes and documents data contents in transaction systems;
• Communicates with administrators, end users, vendors, service providers and other outside organizations to coordinate activities, programs, schedule work, resolve issues;
• Experience with API Integration implementation
• Development of detailed process maps
• Experience in a Kanban team, experience writing and managing user stories
• Experience working with multiple source/target systems such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, XML files, flat files, MS access/excel documents.
• Strong knowledge of system testing and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
