Supporting improvement of Customer experience on Wireline Voice and Internet solutions, individuals will join a team of data experts working from ingesting data, processing/analysis of the data, and presenting the data in visualization platforms.

Project 1: Internet – Customer Experience for Residential subscribers.

Data Architect / Visualization Prime:

• Responsible for analysis of data, linkage across tables, and developing complex queries to model customer requirements. Strong understanding of Bell solutions and services is desired. Leveraging Trino, SQL, BigQuery dashboards will be built to support visualization of the data. Visualization tools will include Microstrategy, and ELK – as well as producing raw tables for stakeholders to leverage in their own self-guided analysis.

Java Developer / Data Engineer:

• Responsible for the development, design, and implementation of data ingestion pipelines. Designs and codes programs, including the ability to test their coding, find errors, and correct codes to provide quality coding. Interfaces with technical team to design and implement application systems. Qualifications include: Demonstrated experience with coding technologies including Scala, Spark, Hadoop, GCP, ; and Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate

The individuals will be assigned to work on scrum teams focusing on Internet solutions in an Agile environment.

Project 2: Voice – Robocall detection and some capacity planning

Leveraging Trino, SQL, BigQuery dashboards will be built to support visualization of the data. Visualization tools will include Microstrategy, ELK. and Google Looker – as well as producing raw tables for stakeholders to leverage in their own self-guided analysis.

Note: Since the roles between Voice and Internet are very similar, depending on work load, and funding – contractors might be switched to the other initiative.

Prefer Contractor to be onsite in either Creekbank or 76 Adelaide St. W offices at least 1 time per week.
English required – French is a bonus
