Brief description of duties:

The candidate will be working with different stakeholders on risk enhancements. They will also be leading the examination and modification of cascading downstream accounting processes. They will be processing accounting data to a data warehouse, which will result in downstream reporting.

• Traditional BSA – defining and document requirements for BSA related work
• Focus on data quality, data feeds, data reporting, data mapping
• Work with internal team, custodians, and vendors
• Understanding business process, business requirements, and working with performance team to understand what they need and how to overcome challenges that arise
• Dealing with investment operations (accounting, clearing, settlements)

MUST haves:

• Capital markets experience – end-to-end trading cycle, accounting
• Data analysis skills – data quality, feeds, and reporting – SQL is a must
• High level knowledge of back-office accounting and allocation of funds
• Understand implication of changes to existing structures and able to amend existing processes, example, “When we introduce global credit funds, what happens to the existing process and how can we adapt?”

Nice to haves:

• Experience with investment-related applications (Eagle, Bloomberg, MSCI BarraOne, Mpower, Murex, Sophis, Charles River)
