Brief description of duties:

The candidate will be working with different stakeholders on enhancements and challenges they face. They will be a stakeholder of data management performance and investment operations.

• Traditional BSA – defining and document requirements for BSA related work
• Strong focus on data quality, data feeds, data reporting, data mapping – they are not sourcing data that people use every day – not developers
• Work with internal team, custodians, and vendors
• Understanding business process, business requirements, and working with performance team to understand what they need and how to overcome challenges that arise
• Dealing with investment operations (accounting, clearing, settlements)

MUST haves:

• Previous project with enhancement of performance data
• Data analysis skills – data quality, feeds, and reporting ; SQL is a must
• Capital markets experience – trading, wealth management with focus on Middle/Back-office, settlements, fund accounting, trust accounting, custody, etc.

Nice to haves:

• Private market software like Dynamo – knowledge of private markets data
• CIBC Mellon tools (NEXEN)
• State Street (MyStateStreet)
• Experience with investment-related applications (Eagle, Bloomberg, MSCI BarraOne, Mpower, Murex, Sophis, Charles River)
• Shops: HOOPP, CPPIB, OMERS, Manulife investments, OTPP, AIMCO, other pension companies
