Daily Responsibilities:
Describe a typical ‘day in the life’
- Recommend business solutions that satisfy sponsor/stakeholder needs continually exploring and assessing options for value-add for clients.
- Develops proposals for small to medium projects.
- Leads detailed requirement phases identifying, tracking, escalating and/or resolving business systems issues.
- Assesses researches, analyses and documents sponsor/stakeholder needs in accordance with Project Life Cycle and CMM (Customer Maturity Model)
deliverables utilizing reporting tools, requirements. Identifies tracks and resolves business systems issues. - Recommends business solutions that satisfy sponsor/stakeholder needs continually exploring and assessing options for value-add for clients.
- To research the business requirements to support the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of recordkeeping systems
- Participate in projects as recordkeeping subject matter expert.
- Provide support and/or training to the end product user when required including creation and execution of Desk Operating Procedures
- Interact with system support staff to review test results and relay install documentation to the end system users.
- Review existing process flows to find efficiencies and opportunities for automation where possible.
- Participate in QC checks of new fund setup.
- Participate Fundserv ESG releases
- Team inbox support
- Participate in client conversions and de conversions
- Act as an internal resource expert within team to share knowledge and provide support on projects, including testing and analysis.
- Emphasis is on product and System Knowledge.
- Train and support new and junior members of the team
- Participate in Industry and regulatory initiatives including Fundserv and FATCA / CRS
What program/technology/software knowledge is essential for this role? Describe in what capacity the selected candidate will be using it?
- Strong knowledge of the Unitrax record keeping application, the existing functionality, table and schedule structure, query functions, daily jobs etc.
Must-have Skills/Experiences and/or Education, certifications, qualifications, designations:
- Mutual Fund Company experience.
- Business Analysis Experience
- 3-5 Years experience on the Unitrax recordkeeping system
- Must possess excellent communications (written & oral) skills
- Strong working knowledge of PC applications such as Word, Excel, Access
- Post-Secondary education
