Brief description of duties:

• Perform the analysis, design, implementation, modification, and daily functional support of all applications. Work with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies
• Gather requirements from business units and translates those to programmers and developers
• Demonstrate an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities
• Support one or more highly complex business processes
• Works on multiple projects as a project team member
• Serve as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs

Must Haves: 

• Sufficient experience as a Business Analyst, focused on market risk and derivatives valuation experience is required
• Recent experience within Capital Markets. Front Office system – knowing rate derivatives, knowing risk.
• Recent hands-on experience writing queries using SQL
• Must have excellent communication skills both oral and written

Nice to Have:

• Experience with data analysis
• JSON or XML exposure is an asset
• IBOR Transition knowledge is an asset
• Python knowledge
