Brief Description on Duties:

Story Behind the Need:

• Business group: GOCT Solution Architecture & Engineering (OU20020954). The Innovation team within the Emerging Technology and Platform Engineering utilizes emerging technologies like Blockchain, AI, Cloud, and others to optimize the Bank’s internal processes. The team is seeking a Business Analyst to support the Athena application project – Athena is an internal chatbot that answers users’ questions.
• Reason: Support the current migration initiative.

Typical Day in Role:

• Work with the business to identify gaps and enhancements to the business instances’ knowledge bases and work with the development team to implement the changes.
• The incumbent is responsible for providing product/project/initiatives status to the product manager and management team and raising any escalated issues promptly.
• Participate in the product implementation by developing and documenting test cases, performing integration testing, raising defects, and providing end-user documentation for the product changes.
• Identify enhancements for Athena.
• Responsible for creating end users’ stories in JIRA or similar product management software to manage the Agile projects.
• Provide post-implementation support (Hypercare) by tracking, analyzing, monitoring, and reporting project and application-related problems and issues.
• The incumbent is an active contributor to designing sustainable DevOps. The Product analyst is required to come up with best practices and procedures.
• Must possess good listening and communication skills to work effectively with end-users and project team members.

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:

• 5-8 years of relevant work in or experience in delivering Technical Products/Business Solutions
• 5-8 years of experience in conducting business analysis and documenting business requirements for medium to large-size projects.
• 8+ years of experience in generating Power BI presentations from scratch and working with other Microsoft products.
• 5-8 years of experience working with Systems and process knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (Agile) and Project Management

Nice-To-Have Skills:

• Prior experience in the following Business lines (CB, GBM, IB)
• Project management and business analysis certificate

• Being able to work up- down within the organization
• Excellent written and communication skills to clearly express concepts and ideas.
• Ability to work as part of a team, as well as work independently with minimal direction.

The best candidate is a knowledgeable and experienced candidate who generates power BI dashboards and a person who can drive projects in a critical state with tough deadlines and work with different teams. The best candidate must have the ability to push for any deliverable without missing deadlines.

Education & Certificates:

• Post-secondary education is required but would be preferred in a related field.
