Term: 12-months (with extension) – 37.5 hours/Week
Location: Toronto – Hybrid 1-2 weeks on-site

Brief Description of Duties: 

• Contributing to the success of DSL project
• Enhancement items that need to be viewed on a regular bases. Management/project will prioritize items and assign to the contractor
• Analysis and typical roles for a BSA
• Running SQL queries and work with Oracle
• Looking at data attributes (related to FX) and ensuring that the data is accurate and complete. Ensure that what is fed from upstream is accurate (investigation, analysis, altering format to fit system format, etc.)
• May be expected to look into downstream reporting to assist with building out some reports
• Will be working internally with the project team, other BSAs, Developers, as well as with some business users
• May undertake some work on the back end using Unix, if able

Must Haves: 

• Experience within in the capacity of a BA/BSA
• Capital markets or 3+ years’ experience within FX/Credit Risk
• Professional experience writing and designing SQL queries (intermediate to advanced skills)
• Working knowledge of SDLC (testing and technical specifications), as well as a strong understanding of configurations, technical mappings, data attributes

Nice to Have Skills: 

• Working knowledge of Unix
• Wallstreet and/or other FX platforms experience is an asset
• Credit Risk experience is an asset
