Brief description of duties:

• In collaboration with the business line PO (product owner), collect, record, and understands the users’ business needs
• Review current state business processes and put forward recommendations to improve, reduce waste and automation opportunities
• Work in collaboration with the architecture team to ensure that we implement the best solutions for the partners’ needs
• Work in close collaboration with developers
• Write, execute, and coordinate trials and help users with acceptance testing
• Participate in the application development plan and entire life cycle.
• As required, support VIP users and liaison with other IT departments to solve critical, time-sensitive issues

Must-haves:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Engineering or any other relevant training/experience at the same level
• 7-10 years of experience in business analysis in various organizations and projects, with at least 5 years of experience in a business/functional analyst role
• Practical experience working with Agile and LEAN methodologies
• Experience in Financial Services, Wealth Management, or Capital Markets industry (major asset)
• Perfect knowledge of English, both orally and in writing – equivalent knowledge for French will be considered a strong asset

• Ability to manage several different potentially complex files simultaneously, in the best interests of the partner and the organization
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain things in simple terms, both to IT teams and to non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent negotiation abilities and advanced conflict resolution skills
• High tolerance for ambiguity and uncertainty
• Proven problem solving and analytical skills
• Thinks like business stakeholder to understand business problems, synthesizes opportunities, and translates into actionable plans to add value
