Brief Description on Duties:

Story Behind the Need

Project: to enhance Loyalty program.

Candidate Value Proposition:

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be exposed to Scotiabank Loyalty Program. We launched the system in Dec of 2021 and now onboarding new clients

Typical Day in Role:

• Managing IT & S and Vendor to deliver the requirement for a business initiative project
• Monitoring the Production Support model from Business to ensure no major issues
• If Issue is encountered to ensure IT& S and Vendor complete development , Testing is validated and delivered to production as quickly as possible

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:

• 3+ years experience as a Business Analyst (preferably from the banking industry)
• 2-3 years experience in project management
• Strong skills with MS Office specially with Excel

Nice-To-Have Skills:

• Loyalty program experience
• Production Support Knowledge – Reports that the business uses for resolving customer escalations
• PowerBI
• PMP Certificate

• Fast-learner and taking initiative of own training speed
• Positive Attitude

Best VS. Average Candidate:

• The best candidate would have BA experience in the banking industry and have a positive attitude, willing to learn.

Education & Certificates:

• Post-Secondary Education is required but would be preferred in a related field
