Brief description of duties:

You will be creating a chatbot conversation design in Botmock (a Visio-like tool) that will feed the development of the customer-facing virtual assistant at the client. You will work with various team members to understand the step-by-step process that the chatbot should convey to customers, and design the conversation with the user’s best interest in mind. You will be the advocate for the user at all times and work with development teams on balancing what’s feasible short term vs ideal user experiences long term.

  • Bot conversation structure & conversational flowchart design to convey the company message in a way that makes the user experience almost personal
    • Flowchart design
    • “Wizard-of-Oz” Testing
    • Error handling
    • Grammar
    • Prepare work for development (by working with BA and Dev)
  • Technology
    • Knowledge of Visio, Mind mapping tools such as Botmock or Miro
    • Knowledge of RASA would be a bonus
  • Business
    • Understand the Agile framework for the swift delivery of M.V.P. and its a continuous improvement process
    • Understand Brand and MarComm best practices
  • Communication
    • Ability to work cross-functionally within multiple business units E.G.: I.T. Project Delivery, Brand/Marketing, business sponsor(s) with ease
    • Exceptional writing & perfect grammar
    • Creating sample dialogue focused on task completion; Requirements


  • A background in copywriting or UX-design
  • Conversation Design certification – Conversation Design Institute is a preferred institution
  • 2+ years experience in conversation design for both chat-bots and voice assistants
  • Bilingual – Canadian French language, both written and spoken

Nice to have:

  • Multi-lingual in languages other than English and Canadian French, both written and spoken
