Brief Description on Duties:

Risk Management Shared Services team is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join their Data, Analytics and Reporting (DAR) team. This senior analyst will be instrumental in delivering analytics products to the internal clients we serve, which include our Fraud Risk Management (FRM), Technology Risk (TR), Global Security & Investigations (GSI), and Enterprise Insider Risk Program (EIRP) partners. The ideal candidate will be able to bridge the gap between risk management and analytical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop end-to-end solutions by analyzing/profiling/augmenting data, applying statistical methods and communicating results through illustrative visualizations.
• Demonstrate ownership of data products by iteratively improving insights and system architecture.
• Build an analytic product target state, roadmap that highlights activities & milestones, and deliver weekly status updates to internal leaders.

Job Requirements

Experience:

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in quantitative discipline such as management analytics, computer engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, economics
• 5 years relevant data or analytics experience.

Data Analytics:

• Experience with SQL, Python, Bash/Powershell tools are a must.
• Knowledge of Alteryx and big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Azure are a nice to have.

Visualization:

• Experience creating interactive visualizations in Tableau, utilizing data models to tell a story with data. Some visualizations may mature into data products for either operational or executive audiences.
• Experience with other BI tools (Powerbi, Qlik) also beneficial.

Data Modeling/Warehousing:

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing procedures.
• A working knowledge of dimensional modeling and data warehousing methodologies are also beneficial.

Excel and PowerPoint:

• Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Balance of technical and business acumen, including business case development from data modeling.
• Ability to draft storyboards and execute narratives using Powerpoint. Experience in advisory or consultancy roles are valued.

Must Haves:

• Experience creating interactive visualizations in Tableau, utilizing data models to tell a story with data. Some visualizations may mature into data products for either operational or executive audiences.
• Experience with SQL, and MS server data & tools are a must.

Nice to Haves: 

• A working knowledge of dimensional modeling and data warehousing methodologies
• Knowledge of Python, SSIS and MS Azure cloud services (such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, ADLS, Delta Lake, Azure SQL DB and Azure Synapse) is a strong asset.
• Knowledge of Alteryx and big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Azure are a nice to have.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
