Brief description of duties:

• Day to day operations of advanced analytics and data visualization toolsets, including end-user problem resolution
• Conducting platform performance and availability monitoring and administration in a 24×7 production environment
• Provide technical guidance on platform maintenance including integration with other existing solutions deployed in the enterprise
• Strong communication and presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with large and small technical audiences including the ability to influence senior-level executives

MUST haves:

• Experience with setup, configuration, and maintenance of automated machine learning platforms like Azure Machine Learning and associated platform maintenance
• Demonstrated operations knowledge/experience related to day-to-day support of advanced analytics and/or machine learning platforms (e.g. Azure Machine Learning PaaS setup/configuration)
• Understanding of Microsoft Azure ecosystem in support of advanced analytics platforms (e.g. ADLS, Blob Storage, Synapse)
• Proven experience in setup, configuration, and maintenance of data visualization ecosystems like Tableau and Power BI, both on-premise and cloud implementations
• Demonstrated operational experience with the support of end-users and technology platforms for advanced analytics and data visualization
• Solid understanding and implementation experience surrounding data pipeline operationalization and support (i.e. build/promote/maintain data model pipelines) including performance monitoring and scaling
• Strong SQL skills to understand complex queries and optimize them for performance across large volumes of data
• Strong technical data analytics experience with a variety of RDBMS (i.e. SQL Server, DB2 LUW, and zOS) and non-relational systems (i.e. semi-structured and unstructured data)
• Communication and presentation experience with a proven track record of using insights to influence executives and colleagues
• Strong background in Unix and Windows integrated environments
• Understanding and experience on cloud platforms (i.e. Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP) is an asset
