Term: 12 months + possible extensions

Location: Remote for now/ Ontario

Primary Responsibilities:

• Enterprise-grade technology systems design, implementation, operations, and tier 3 support, adhering to EDC guidelines and standards
• Effective problem solving and root cause analysis
• Collaboration with team members, and stakeholders to drive customer satisfaction
• Collaboration with third-party service support teams as needed

Specific Project Requirements:

• Stabilization of legacy data technology services
• Modernization of data technology services
• Enhancements of Azure Data services

Top Skills Required:

• Azure data services from code (Terraform) following CI/CD best practices, including Azure Synapse, Databricks, SQL Database, Event Hub, Data Factory, Machine Learning Services, and Power BI.
• Denodo- strong architectural and administration knowledge
• Consultation support for data engineering, data analysts/scientists, data architecture

Other Skills Required:

• Tier 3 technical support for the production environment. Knowledge of ITIL best practices.
