Brief description of duties:

• Needs to have the ability to do service mapping, having conversations with business owners around what’s in their CI’s and how they get it into their CMDB
• Needs someone strong in configuration & configuration architecture, who can sit down, take a look at their current state of CMDB, identify the sources, identify what they need to do to get them up and running, and how do they get rid of the manual portion of entering CIs

MUST haves:

• Must have Servicenow (they find there’s too much of a difference between Remedy and ServiceNow)
• Strong configuration & configuration architecture experience
• Needs to be self-motivated, be able to figure out what needs to get done, go off on their own and do it—self-sufficient
• Needs good communication skills

Nice to haves:

• Has stood up a CMDB practice on their own from greenfield
